Accessibility & Compliance
Screen reader, keyboard, and assistive tech compatibility

Automated tools catch maybe 30% of accessibility issues—the rest require real testing with real assistive technologies. We test your application with the same tools your disabled users use: screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), keyboard-only navigation, voice control (Dragon), screen magnification, and more. Our testers include people with disabilities who use these technologies daily, providing authentic feedback on the user experience.
Everything you need for success
How we work with you
Define testing scope, user flows, and assistive tech coverage
Test with JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver on key pages and flows
Verify all functionality accessible via keyboard alone
Test voice control, magnification, and alternative inputs
Real users with disabilities test and provide feedback
Document issues, severity, and remediation steps
What you'll achieve
Find issues automated tools miss
Real user feedback from disabled users
Ensure screen reader compatibility
Verify keyboard accessibility works in practice
Identify usability issues beyond technical compliance
Higher confidence in accessibility claims
Everything you need to know
Automated tools check code (ARIA labels present, heading structure correct, alt text exists). They can't judge: if labels make sense, if navigation flow is logical, if content reads naturally, if interactions work intuitively. Example: code might be "compliant" but screen reader announces "button button edit button" (confusing) vs "Edit" (clear). Real testing finds usability issues beyond technical compliance.
Priority order: (1) JAWS + Chrome (Windows, ~40% market share, most common enterprise). (2) NVDA + Firefox (Windows, ~30%, free/popular). (3) VoiceOver + Safari (Mac/iOS, ~20%, all Apple users). (4) TalkBack + Chrome (Android, ~10%). Test top 3 minimum. JAWS most important for government/enterprise, VoiceOver for consumer/mobile.
Testing entire site using only keyboard (no mouse). Requirements: Tab reaches all interactive elements, Enter/Space activates buttons/links, Escape closes modals, Arrow keys navigate menus/tabs, focus indicators visible, logical tab order, no keyboard traps. Common issues: invisible focus, illogical tab order, mouse-only interactions, modals trapping keyboard. Keyboard access helps many users: mobility disabilities, power users, anyone unable to use mouse.
Yes. User testing with disabled users provides invaluable insights. We can facilitate: (1) Structured testing sessions with real assistive tech users. (2) Feedback on usability beyond compliance. (3) Video recordings of testing sessions. (4) Prioritized issues from user perspective. Typical: 3-5 users with different disabilities (blind, low vision, motor disability) test critical flows. More authentic than our expert testing alone.
