Free SSL certificate authority. Provides trusted SSL certificates that auto-renew every 90 days—no cost, fully automated. We use Let's Encrypt for most projects unless you need expensive EV certificates.
Fail2ban monitors authentication logs, bans IPs after repeated failed login attempts. Combined with SSH key authentication (disabling password login), servers are highly resistant to brute force attacks.
Application-level: rate limiting, CloudFlare protection. Network-level: cloud provider DDoS protection (AWS Shield, DigitalOcean Cloud Firewalls). For high-risk sites, we recommend CloudFlare Pro or AWS Shield Advanced.
