Regional Express Delivery was managing their 120-vehicle fleet using paper logs, phone calls, and basic GPS devices. They had no visibility into real-time vehicle locations, driver performance, or maintenance schedules. Dispatchers were manually assigning routes without optimization tools, leading to inefficient fuel usage and delivery delays. We built a comprehensive fleet management platform with real-time GPS tracking, automated route optimization, and predictive maintenance alerts.
The delivery company was experiencing rapid growth but their operational systems hadn't scaled. Dispatchers were spending hours manually planning routes and couldn't respond quickly to delays or customer changes. Vehicle maintenance was reactive, leading to unexpected breakdowns and costly downtime. Fuel costs were rising due to inefficient routing. We developed a real-time fleet management platform integrating GPS hardware with Laravel backend and React dashboard. The system provides live vehicle tracking on interactive maps, uses algorithms for route optimization based on traffic and delivery windows, and automatically schedules maintenance based on mileage and engine hours. Drivers use a mobile app for navigation, delivery confirmation with photo proof, and digital logbooks for DOT compliance.
